Best Time to Visit
June to October
The dry season offers Tarangire at its very best. Wildlife gathers around the Tarangire River, creating outstanding opportunities to observe large elephant herds and predator activity in a beautiful, open landscape.
November to March
The arrival of seasonal rains transforms the park into a lush green paradise. Migratory birds arrive, newborn animals appear across the plains, and the scenery becomes especially vibrant for photography.
April to May
Although rainfall is more frequent, Tarangire remains peaceful and beautifully green. Fewer visitors and attractive accommodation rates make this an excellent choice for travelers seeking a quieter safari experience.
