Best Time to Visit
June to October
The dry season offers excellent conditions for game drives, walking safaris, and canoeing. Clear skies often provide stunning views of Mount Meru and, on particularly clear mornings, even Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
November to March
The park becomes beautifully green following the short rains, attracting migratory birds and creating excellent conditions for photography. Wildlife remains active throughout the year, while the lush scenery adds to the park’s charm.
April to May
Rainfall transforms the forests and lakes into vibrant landscapes filled with life. Visitor numbers are lower during this season, offering a peaceful and intimate experience for those who don’t mind occasional showers.
