Day 1 : Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, traveling through the picturesque landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the legendary Serengeti National Park.

As the scenery transforms into endless savannah, your first game drive begins. Keep watch for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, and the predators that have made the Serengeti famous around the world. Every turn presents a new opportunity, and your guide will help you interpret the fascinating behaviors of the wildlife you encounter.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the remarkable ecosystems of the Serengeti. Setting out after breakfast, you’ll venture into different regions of the park in search of the incredible diversity of wildlife that calls these plains home.

Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, encounter prides of lions resting in the shade, observe cheetahs scanning the grasslands, or discover elusive leopards hidden among riverine forests. Along the way, hippos, crocodiles, elephants, hyenas, and countless bird species add to the day’s unforgettable experiences.

A picnic lunch enjoyed at a scenic location allows you to maximize your time in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the golden light of sunset spreads across the savannah, you’ll return to your accommodation with memories of one of Africa’s greatest wildlife spectacles.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descending approximately 600 meters onto the crater floor, you’ll explore one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife habitats, home to an impressive variety of animals living within this natural amphitheater.

The crater provides one of the best opportunities to encounter the endangered black rhinoceros alongside lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and an abundance of birdlife surrounding the seasonal lakes.

Following a picnic lunch on the crater floor, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for Tanzania’s remarkable natural heritage.
